Please lend your support to a campaign to set the record straight for our
most maligned monarch, King Richard III.

If you go to our Events tab you will see that TBS supports the efforts of
the “Richard III Project” which is an initiative aimed at getting the media
moguls to produce a TV series, to give a more sympathetic understanding of this
iconic king.  Not surprisingly, the group want the actor Richard Armitage to
star in the role.  Many of you will remember him as the hearthrob in the TV
adaptation of Robin Hood, where he turned the tables on Robin of the Greenwood
and received widespread acclaim for playing the sinister Guy of Gisburn.
Incidentally, Armitage was named Richard by his father as he was born on 22nd
August, the day that King Richard died at Bosworth.
