Monday 6th Aug – The Power & Effectiveness of the English Longbow – Mark Stretton, a
recognised national expert and world record holding longbow archer.
Talk may be followed by a demonstration at the Crooked Billet, time
and weather permitting.
Monday 3rd Sept – Towton Battlefield Update – Tim Sutherland gives an update on the
latest archaeological perspectives from the Battlefield.
Sat 15th Sept – Trip to Lincoln – A guided tour of this historic city.

Monday 5th Nov – The English Longbow – Pip Bickerstaffe, one of England’s leading
Bowyers.
