We are pleased to announce that Dr Helen Castor has accepted our invitation to become the Patron of the Towton Battlefield Society. I am sure that most of you will be aware of her contribution to the understanding of the medieval period, her many books, her TV and Radio work and some may have met her at some of the events we have attended over the years .

We are honoured that she has accepted our invitation and we look forward to working alongside her.
